My way over three levels of management...

2009:: I was given two books by a very wealthy man after getting into a fight with my then girlfriend (now wife) about how I was going nowhere in my life... I had not read a book in 9 years(desperate times call for desperate measures). He told me "one chapter a day once a day" I told him I don't read... his response caught my attention... if improving your life is really important to you, you'll read these books and if not then shut up and quit asking for advise from people if you are just gonna spit it in their face!

One year later after finishing both books more then 3 times a piece: I got a job I had NO EXPERIENCE in and became a supervisor in 2 weeks whereas I was never been promoted before and I was thirty years old. Others there for years trying to become a supervisor... funny thing was I had to earn authority among those same people (without a meeting appointing me a supervisor...) I succeeded!

One year later: I have jumped over two levels of supervisors and my manager who had been there for twelve years... I am now Systems Development Director working with managers of four departments any my job is easy... I develop systems to so that output of production meets demands. Now those who were my bosses i now (hint)SERVE with the authority vested in me...
